"If only EssExTee could be so grossly incandescent" (essextee)

But I can’t turn it off now. The button does nothing. I’ve tried everything short of tapping out “DSC” in morse code on it. No fooling around in the snow for me, I guess :(
The manual says it should just be a single push to turn it off.

try holding it down for a few seconds, may not be just a simple push.

Press brake and hold button?
Better idea would be to read your owners manual.
If that doesn’t have your answer there’s always the ABS fuse.

If you want to try Morse code, it’s -.. ... -.-.

Manual says single push. Also, “everything short of morse code” includes holding it for like, 20 seconds.

Manual says single push. Hence my dilemma.

What was broken and how did you fix it?

Well (I think) mine works but the light behind the button went out so there’s a 50/50 chance it’s on or not...still, FWD and completely bone-dry roads means I have very little chance of dying...that and Volvo won’t ever let you get rid of traction control completely unless you pull a fuse...

Think: fusebox. Everything can be turned off.

Bad reluctor ring, replaced wheel hub.
